wil there be video games?

I am a 16 year old who is new to fursuiting and I think its really cool! I will be attending anthrocon in 09 but I still have a question about anthrocon in general: Will There Be Video Games? I cannot survive without them. I will be the little kitsune carrying around a DS or PSP. I saw in videos that you sometimes hold gaming competitions but is that every year? I must know! *spazez out on livingroom floor*

Anthrocon does offer a video game room, and frequently there are tournaments, which have included Dance Dance Revolution, Guitar Hero, Super Smash Brothers *, and others. http://www.anthrocon.org/files/anthrocon/active/0/program-reader.pdf is a link to last year's schedule and some tournaments/events. There are many people who have a DS or PSP, as well.

There's also a very nice forum section for gaming, http://www.anthrocon.org/forum/gaming . Read up there. Smiling

Ok then, scratch the part about updating automatically, but it'd still be easier to look at than putting signature material directly above one's message, even blending them together in some cases Smiling

well I will be bringing guitar hero for the ps2 in my room with two full guitars, and I will have guitar hero 1-3 ^_^

Besides, who wants to travels hundreds or thousands of miles to play video games?

A video game room is a perfect social enviroment.....for gamers that is.

Dont spend all of anthrocon playing video games....enjoy all of it

A good thing to bring would be party games aka GH,DDR,Rock Band....stuff like that

If a wii is to be brought(Dont recommend it) Be sure to keep track of Controllers.
Mark em and keep them in site at all times.

Yup, I'll be carrying my DS along for the convention to anyone wanting to game.
I'm sure the Game Room's got plenty of games to check out (I've noticed a number of people hanging out there with their DSs and PSPs waiting for some partners, too).

And if the Room needs an extra Wii for Smash Brothers Brawl I'd be happy to donate mine for the weekend.
