Uhhhh... that's a bit vague. It depends where you're coming from, really.
For flights, I recommend www.travelocity.com. You can search for dates and airports on there.
For busses, try typing, "busses to Pittsburgh" into Google and see what that turns up.

I saw, but that really doesn't narrow it down. Ontario is a big province.

According to Cheapflights.ca the lowest rates right now for Thursday through Monday are CAD 264 on Air Canada. The best that Travelocity or Kayak can come up with is USD 364. The trip takes a little more than an hour and you'll need a passport.
The bus will cost you USD 107 but takes anywhere from 10 to 13 hours each way. You'll still need government-issued ID to cross the border.

permalinkSince you're vague as to what city you're coming from,
but I'm feeling nice,
I'm going to run some of the numbers supposing you're coming from either
TORONTO or OTTOWA.
The absolute cheapest method of travel will be by Greyhound bus.
(You wouldn't be the first Canadian to bus it to AC, either.)
Here's the OTTOWA information, supposing a trip beginning June 24 and beginning back
June 29.
The trip going ranges between 16 hours, 15 minutes and 19:00. (Greyhound Lines Canada)
The trip returning ranges between 20:00 and 20:05. (Greyhound Lines Inc)
Round trip cost: $208.
Please note there can be surcharges and so on.
Here's the TORONTO information, supposing a trip beginning June 24 and beginning back
June 29.
The trip going ranges between 10:00 and 12:15.
The trip returning ranges between 9:15 and 13:55. (Greyhound Lines Inc.)
Round trip cost: $156 refundable, or $107 non-refundable.
==============
Then there's my favourite way to get to AnthroCon: Amtrak.
*checks*
I don't think you can Amtrak it from there to Pittsburgh-at least, Amtrak's website
doesn't seem to think so, even from Toronto.
*checks again*
Technically, you COULD go from Toronto to New York City, first stop to last stop on
the Maple Leaf line, a 12:30 trip,
and then go from NYC to Pittsburgh, first stop to last stop on the Pennsylvanian line,
a trip about 11 hours.
Even I wouldn't recommend a trip that long.
==========
Now, flying.
If Travelocity is any guide, (and, like Giza, I consider it one),
Ottowa trips (as I see them) begin at $485 including tax.
(Kage's seeing better deals somehow, I think.)
The trip's 3:30.
Now, Toronto trips (as I see them) begin at $367 including tax, nonstop flights.
1:19.
Sounds like AirCanada might be offering better rates.
Then again, if it's charging them in Canadian dollars, I don't know which is
currently cheaper....

If you're from Toronto, there are LOTS of furries in that area! Have you looked into sharing a ride with anyone who might be driving down? I'd ask around some of the Toronto furry-related resources out there.

It depends on where you leave from ..
but if it's a distance comparable to montreal-pittsburgh ..
With Greyhound , the cost of a roundtrip ticket when bought 14 days in advance is 102$ canadian .. which is CHEAP .
The same ride on a plane would be AT LEAST in the 300$
BUT , the good side of it is that planes are much faster and comfortable than buses.
for me it akes around 18 to 21 hours to get there by greyhound .. so it's only if you have a lot of patience and can stand the cries of little klids all the way XD
recommendation : bring earplug and a blanket if you take the bus

I love you all ..
except for the people I don't like..

Not that it doesn't happen on planes as well.
