I can't find the answers I need in the FAQs as they are written, so I'll put all my related questions together so one person can dash off all the answers at once instead of 8 times as the questions are posted.

They're about Panelists and Registration.

Volunteers with TEN hours or more (including equated hours like the doubles for setup or
however that works) get free basic registration, if I'm reading correctly. I heard that a panelist for one year's AC gets free basic registration for the next year's AC. This makes sense to me, since a panel usually takes more than 10 hours of work to prepare for, let alone run. (I was busy for the months preceeding AC myself.)

So,
A) is it true that panelists for one year get a Basic Membership for the next year? (Upgradeable to a Sponsor or SuperSponsor the same as any other membership, of course.)

B) IF that is true, how do I redeem mine from AC2006?

C) If that is not true, was there some other official reward for the panel?
(Not counting the unofficial reward of the satisfied participants and a job well done, of course.) If so, how do I redeem that?

If the first case is true, is it simply a matter of doing an online registration?

Thanks in advance for answering.

I'll have to say KP is the official person to deal with this one, but if there is a freebie compensation for panelists, I got about five years worth coming! *chuckle*

What I HAVE recieved is: a kewel ribbon, usually a nice certificate, my name in the con book as the panel operator, a thanks from Programming and Chairman (verbal, not a formal decleration) and the satisfaction of having everyone enjoy the panel! (I run Furry Mad-Libs every year, one of the highest reviewed and enjoyed panels! (Note: the following was my own words, NOT an endorsement from Con Staff. Thank you, thank you...Smiling))

But again, I am NOT speaking in any kind of official capacity, so I may be wrong in me supposition. Happy "International Talk Like A Pirate Day" mateys!!
