posting problem
i am trying to post on a forum topic i started but it keeps saying validation error what should i do?
Hmm...would it affect people replying to your particualr messages or is it another problem entirely. (I've tried to reply to one of your posts before and got the same message.)
No, it's part of Drupal's form generation library. Basically, anytime a form is generated on the site, this is added in.
Oh, that reminds me, I can offer a few workarounds:
1) Try closing and re-opening the tab in your browser
2) Try restarting your browser
3) Try logging out of the site and logging back in
4) Try a different browser
And most importantly, be sure to let me know here what works and what doesn't. The more data I have to work with, the better chance I have of tracking down whatever the underlying issue is.

The validation issue is how Drupal defends against cross-site scripting attacks. But you should not be seeing it under normal usage.
If you could catch me in IM sometime, I'd love to be able to troubleshoot this with you interactively. It seems that about 0.1% of people are affected by this, and I'd like to make that 0.0%.
