Rooms available at all hotels
Remember, the 25th is the last day to cancel a Westin reservation without penalty! We have seen several already, and as those people cancel, rooms are coming available. Before you give in to dispair because you did not get a room, try calling the hotels directly and find out if anything has become available. Remember too that the Westin has a waiting list going.
Received the email today stating they were not able to process the deposit. I called and gave them the new credit card number.
Will I be getting a second e-mail stating everything is ok?

I had to cancel mine sadly, yesterday (the 24th) I postponed it as long as I could, but apparently it couldn't be avoided. Very sad to say you won't be seeing me randomly hugging furs at the con, Maybe next year.
By the way, Kage, You rock! I know usually your videos debut at AC, but when will last years show be available on your website?

Similar situation here. Logged into my Starwood Preferred Guests account yesterday to find my reservation missing. E-mailed Jaimie. Now have to hope for the best.
If you hung onto your confirmation number, they can probably find the reservation.

When I called they told me they were in the process of going through the cancellations and contacting those on the waiting list. I asked to be put on the list about three weeks ago, when they said it was already quite long, and haven't been contacted yet myself.
Oops, they just called me today and I got a room so perhaps there is hope. xD
To late, already paid for my reservation at the Omni
I tried changing my credit card info today (got new card activated yesterday) and after talking to a couple of people ended up in accounting's VM. Hopefully they will call me back sometime today.
