Getting a Room at the hotel
I know they take credit or debit cards, but can i use paypal to pay them with? Might sound stupid but i didn't know and i wanted to ask. Was wondering if i could use that to reserved a room with.
You need a credit or debit card on file for incidentals and the deposit. You can pay in cash in the end if you like. I don't belive I've ever run accross a hotel that accepted paypal but I suppose you can call and ask.
Paypal offers a credit card that you can tie to your account. I'm sure that would work.
The PayPal debit card is the best way to reserve a room for those who do not have a sufficient credit card at their disposal. Because the debit card goes through PayPal's processing system, actual charges do not hit your bank until the final bill is processed from the hotel. This means that any money that is held by the hotel in the form of authorizations for incidentals will not be on hold in your actual bank checking account but in the virtual world of PayPal as an authorization only... which will disapear as the final payment processes through. Not everyone is approvd for the PayPal debit card, but its worth a shot.
Information about the PayPal debit card and how to apply for one on your verified account.
If you feel you MUST use some variation of Paypal for this,
I strongly recommend you use cash to pay for the room
when you register, and only use the Paypal card to reserve
the room and cover the sundries/damage deposit.
The hotel is always fine receiving payment, and cash is
always an effective payment.
Thank you guys for the help.
