Dr. Gerbasi has another survey for this year's Anthrocon, along with something to scan hands in for research purposes. I thought she had wanted to try and discuss it sometime on Sunday, after all the surveys had been turned in but I'm not sure if she ever actually set anything up. Does anyone know?

Hi Sam
I sent something in back in winter 2007 and I was told not to send the form too soon so that is why I sent it in Feb 2008. I have resent it now to the programming email address.
(I hope you are back safely from your trans Pacific adventures).
The Kent State U has a new IRB coordinator who is much more directive than last year's person so I am in the middle of resubmitting the IRB request what has now been deemed to be the correct form. Bureacracy...you have to love it!
See you soon

Please let me know if you get that panel. I can try to suggest it myself if you give me the proper wording.

HI Mike
ARE YOU ALL DONE AND GRADUATED? YEAH!!!!
My final grades are FINALLY done today!!!!
I think we are working through getting a panel set up, maybe you would like to participate and could address the advantages from an academic point of view, of having a real researcher as opposed to media crap, looking at the fandom?

I've tried responding to that e-mail, but it's bouncing.

If you could send a message to I can get you the programming form to get your panel scheduled.

Hi K.P.
I just clicked on the email and sent you a copy of the form I filled out in February. I included my correct home email with that...hopefully that will do the trick!
Thanks for your help!
