Okey, I am a con newb, and an art show newb. I have never been to either before and as far as the art show goes I am wondering if the hooks for the peg boards are included or if we have to bring our own?
Any one with any insight please post, I have no idea either way and would hate to show up with (if not needed)/without (if need) this key component.

While Petercat is the official voice of Art Show-ness and the final authority, I can say (as someone who has helped hang the panels) that the "j" hooks are provided in great quantity. Petercat also makes sure that there is a great quantity of Bull-clips, in a couple sizes, as well.

I presume that you applied for an artshow panel or two, and have received your packet? If you have applied but not received the documents packet, contact Petercat at artshow@anthrocon.org. I think that there may also be a link to contact him, somewhere in the sidebar to the left of this forum. One very important thing to know about the AnthroCon Art show is, NO GLASS is allowed in framed artwork; I believe other glazing material for frames is acceptable, but some artists will forego actual glazing of any sort, or will provide you with the glass after the show, to insert into the frame. Glass panes are actually fairly cheap to obtain at most hardware stores, unless the buyer is looking for the more exotic, anti-glare/anti-reflective, or "invisible" or coated glass panes.

When hanging your artwork, be careful - while the artshow staff endeavor to make sure that all pegboards are in reasonable condition and repair, due the huge number, there are bound to be some that are a little more worn in certain holes than you might wish, and it would be wise to try to find the least-worn holes for inserting the "j" hooks.
