Locked on for a first timer

Well I've gotten the confirmation for both my pre-registration and my Westin Hotel reservations for my girlfriend, Ayame, and I. It's both of our first times to Anthrocon and We're really looking forward to it. From all past experiences and videos I've seen of the event it looks like a blast and we'll fit right in.. as soon as we warm up to people that is. If there's anybody willing to meet up with us that's had some good experience on what to do and all we'd be more then willing to accept an offer of a walk-around or something, or just to hang out. We'll be there late June 27 - June 29, have some work obligations so we'll be leaving Richmond, VA late afternoon on the 27th getting there later that night.
