Well see.. I really want one.. or at least I think I do. But before saving up for one I would like to try one on for a period of time. Maybe one to two hours or something just to make sure I like it
. I was wondering if there was anyone out there that's my size that might like to let me try hehe. I promise I'll be careful. Believe me when I say I understand how expensive and unique they are. I'm 4'11" so finding someone with one that might fit me will be kind of tricky. Anyone out there who's as short as I am and might not mind lending me their suit for an hour or two? ^^

Rather than try one on, why not just get a partial to start with? Get a head and some paws and dance about in that, then you can decide if you want to go full body.

I must agree. Starting with a partial would be a good place to begin for a novice. I myself have only fursuited a couple of times, thanks to a dear friend.
You get kind of giddy and energetic from the excitement of having your physical appearance change, and because of that, you tend to overheat pretty quickly. Trying a full suit may not be the best of ideas.
Being a shorter person, there's a lot more options out there that could potentially fit you. I myself am 6'3" 285lbs, so even Caffeine Cat was tight on me.
My advice to you is to attend some of the fursuiting panels that JD Puppy, LuckyDog, and Tony Ringtail may be running. They've given me some great ideas as well as some good advice on costuming and fursuiting. You never want to jump in without some understanding.

Just a headsup, not to be a downer or anything, but most folks who own suits are gonna be loathe to let other people wear them. They're expensive and getting other peoples sweat in them is kinda eeerk.

Or exchanging sweaty Jock straps. XC
I would go with a partial first before deciding to wear the full suit. Knowing this from experience from fur suiting for the library, it can get uncomfortable for the first few times before you get used to it.
A Partial is a little bit cheaper, but it can be alot cheaper to make one yourself.
