I will be new to Anthrocon this year and I'm looking forward to meeting people that I've seen online: Aelius I would also like to meet some new people, too, as long as they respect my values. I'm straight, I don't do drugs, smoke, or drink. And, please don't glomp me. After all, it would be terrible to have someone tackle me when I'm least aware and break my back, my ribcage, and/or my neck. Understand? I know you will. |

Heh, you don't have to worry about all that; in my history of visiting cons I've yet to come across people like that.
As for meeting up at the con, the best thing to do would be to plan ahead and maybe agree to meet up a particular spot at a certain time. A couple weeks before the convention they usually post the schedule of events so that you can plan around any events you'd like to attend, and they normally include places of interest to meet up as well; Giza had some good suggestions here: http://www.anthrocon.org/node/2021

You were late to Anthrocon last year and those four guys... well, I don't know how they finally left. That's why you did not encounter them.

Oh, we found each other easily enough (we tend to run into each other at specific locations in the Dealers' Room
