I have been trying desperately to get in touch with some vendor who can make me another tail and ears set for a wolf character with no luck whatsoever. I figure maybe somebody who does make custom ears and/or tails will see this call for help. Is there anybody out there?

Details are as follows...

A wolf tail and ear set with black fur with red highlights... also possibly an arctic wolf ear and tail set, white fur with a little gray mixed in to be picky Sticking out tongue

I would LOVE to have these by AC so speed is of the essence. I'm located in Northern, and Central VA.

Thank you SO MUCH in advance if someone can help Laughing out loud

I wish you luck on finding someone to help you. Right now I only make cat tails and any kinds of ears. If you still don't have them after AC though I might be able to help you later this summer. I'll keep you in mind and get back to you sometime after AC, that is if you still don't have your parts.

Well in the case that she never answers(but I am sure SHE will), I can take on your commission and have it done by AC, or possibly before. I has a lot of time on my paws since I'm only taking one college course for the summer. Just drop me a email at

Wow...I was tired when I originally wrote this response. But...Artslave's Avatar looks male to me, so excuse me for the mistake.

I always go to see if someone is making them in a style I like. It's a Con tradition for me. It's always my first stop as soon as they open. Then I break them in over the course of the Con. Last year I got a set of fox ears and a fox tail (to which I added bells, because what is a fox without waiting with bells on?) I have a nice black wolf tail, and sadly, my other fox tail has fallen to the ravages of time and young cousins. I have yet to find anyone who makes decent dragon accoutrements. The burden of having higher standards...

A comment about your thing about dragon stuffs...

Dragon things have gone down hill in general. I don't know if it is the new age influx of fantasy (D&D, Magic the Gathering, ect.) or what. People seem to think...anything and everything is dragon...Ahem. I'm going to stop myself there before I go on a mini-tangent.

People should really stay away from faux fur or vinyl when attempting anything dragon. Otherwise the end product isn't going to look all that dragon-ish at all. I think that also people should be wary of mixing South American dragon attributes, Western Dragon attributes, and Eastern Dragon attributes.

Anyway...good luck on finding someone who can cater to your standards.

Oh, I have no doubts that I will never find someone who will ever meet my standards. What I'm more concerned with is finding something for which I would be willing to pay what they're asking. And that involves me abdicating my standards and accepting something wretched as if it is acceptable.

Personally, I'm a good, old-fashioned Western Dragon, wings, crown horns, claws like swords, teeth like daggers, scales like shields. Tolkien himself could not describe me better. Scales black like obsidian, eyes milk-white, featureless, and glowing with the light of centuries of wisdom, and teeth white as polished ivory. My maw glows with the light of the inferno that burns in my belly, the force of nature the drives creation, spawns new continents and thrusts new land from the bosom of the sea.

No, I will not find a suitmaker who can provide me with something remotely adequate to that description. The best I can hope for is to find a special effects costumer who can come close. Still, I'm a video game designer, and so I will content myself with finding a modeler who can make my dragon soul come to life on the computer screen in all my glory. I will be pleased to have small mortals look upon my digital might and weep with the knowledge that, while they may have bitten off more than they can chew, my maw is large enough to accommodate them and their friends. Eagerly.
