Registration question ---

Hey guys,

Got a question pertaining to ID as well, for the newly married. I know a lot of us aren't the marrying kind, as it were, HOWEVER...

My wonderful Devilpony and I have recently gotten hitched, and she's since registered for AC under her new last name. We're working on getting the names changed legally/etc, all those fun things that need to be done after a marriage that noone mentions. That said, with the wonderful way our Pennsylvania DOT handles things, and her own situation of having moved up from MD and never changed primary address to PA during schooling, we may have a bit of an issue getting a photo ID for her with the new name on it.

That said, is it possible with perhaps a copy of said marriage license and both our ID's (Her maiden name-ID, my own proper photo ID, and the marriage license either photocopied or original) for the AC staff to accept these as proper identification? I hate to mention it with the rise of topics on fake ID's and such, but I figured better to ask and be sure if this will be an issue beforehand.

As well, if anyone has any possible ways to LEGALLY and PROPERLY get around this problem, that the con staff can verify or OK for us, I'd highly appreciate it. We want to cause a minimum of trouble, and still be able to properly be registered and set to enjoy another happy year at AC.

On a final note, we DO have her updated note from the Social Security bureau, however I'm not sure if/when the card itself will be available to us.
