Bumped Dates? Whoa!

Location: Coquitlam, BC, Canada

Upon seeing the site's main page, I've found that the con date has been bumped a day ahead to June 26, instead of the 25th. Is there a reason why this happened, or am I the only one who remembers some odd minor things like that?

It'd throw off some furs who also planned their days off from work when they saw that it'd be on the 25th. Guess I'll be in Pittsburgh three days prior. Sticking out tongue Oh well. Hope i can find someone who'll be there long before the con starts.

I don't know what you were looking at.
June 26, 2008 is a Thursday.
AnthroCon always runs OFFICIALLY from Thursday (Registration) through Sunday.
Panels and so on begin Friday morning.

Some of us like to arrive Thursday. Those who arrive later miss
registration early, and chances to socialize Thursday without
missing events.

Some of us like to arrive Wednesday, and get a good night's sleep
before the chances to socialize and go to registration Thursday.

Some of us arrive sooner and tour Pittsburgh a bit before Thursday.

And never at any time has this web site had "June 25" on it, nor has it been in any of our official announcements. Are you sure you didn't get confused by some people's discussions of their hotel plans?

looks like it , tho' a lot of people were talking of getting there on the 25th or leaving for anthrocon on tat day , maybe that's where you got mixed up
