I live in Austin, and would enjoy a get together with local furs. Or at least as local as it gets in Texas. =D

I live in New Mexico, but on White Sands Missile Range and El Paso is the closest major city besides Las Cruces (which doesn't have a national airport Sticking out tongue )

On a semi-related note, are any of you planning on attending Oklacon this year? I was thinking about driving, but it's a pretty far trip and with gas prices being what they are I'm thinking I should just fly unless I find someone who wants to carpool.

I am all for females joining this get-together. So even if you're a thousand or more miles from where I call home, I say, give it a shot.

I cannot say I'll be attending Oklacon however. It sounds cool, but I'll probably be kicking my ass trying to get things nice and pretty for the game I'm working on then.

I was born in Texas and lived there until 2000. (Native Houstonian - about as rare as a native Floridian *wink*)

Hey, I just found out about a new convention being held in Texas next year, via the Oklacon mailing list!

I'll most likely attend if I am still in New Mexico when February rolls around Smiling That's one of the few airports with cheap flights to/from El Paso heh.
