A Gilbert Home Chemistry Set!
By the way - as a kid, did you ever actually receive a chemistry set as a present? I've often wondered, when it comes to "scientific" or "educational" toys, what percentage of professional chemists had a chestry set, what percentage of biologists received a microscope with slides as a kid, how many civil engineers or architechs ever played with an Erector Set, that sort of thing. Such items take one step past props for games of "let's pretend". I know many folks who built model airplanes but never became pilots or joined the Air Force or became aerospace engineers, for example.
You might ask that question of your fellow professionals and peers at work - I'd truly like to know.

I'm a biologist... I had a chemistry set AND read my mom's high school biology book when I was 5.
I also watched alot of "Nova" and "National Geographic" and "Nature". Mega nerd.
