Hiyas ^.^ I'm attending AC, and recently came across something I'd like to sell. Now, I'm not a dealer or artist...and what I have is commercially available...albeit RARE and hard to find... Can I give this to an dealer/artist to sell on my behalf at their table, cutting them in for a percentage of the sale? Lastly, while I could do this on the Furauction site...do i have to set a price on the item? Or can I put of note on it saying highest bidder gets it...so basically an auction for it? Any help or advice on this is greatly appreciated. |

If a dealer is willing to sell it on your behalf, that is entirely between you and him. That dealer will just be responsible for reporting the sales tax paid on it.

Yes, what you describe is known as Consignment: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Consignment
Also, as Sam said, the arrangement is entirely between yourself and the dealer, and it is their responsibility to pay sales taxes incurred.
