Unless they were installed recently,
no, they do not.

In general in Pittsburgh, hotel rooms have neither mini-fridges nor microwaves,
and suites often do not have either of those, as well.

Some people have suggested bringing a portable hot-plate, and someone once
suggested using a coffee-maker to heat water for instant things
like ramen. (The coffee-maker's just used for water, so it doesn't
have to have the ramen washed out of the pot.) I forget if the
Doubletree rooms have a coffee-maker.

Don't even think about using an open-flame in a hotel room, either.
You'll probably set off alarms and sprinklers, and after that,
you'll have to deal with an angry Kage.

They may have stayed in a Doubletree Suite.
Those may have microwaves.

This'll sound like an ad but if you find yourself staying at the DT more than once, etc and join Hilton HHonors for free you'll have perques like advance check in and

room/floor selection a day before you arrive, and coupons to get the breakfast buffet for free...

It varies.  First VisitPittsburgh has to get the reservations to the various hotels and then the hotels have to process them internally.  The charge will probably NOT make on to your February charge card statement and may not even be there by March.  But relax: If you have the verification note from VisitPittsburgh, you have a room.
