Anthrocon costs

Hey, I'm going to make an effort to go to AC next year, and I'm trying to figure out a ballpark estimate of how much I'll need to save up for it. I know that stuff like how much spending money I'll need varies depending on what I intend to buy, so I'm not going to ask about factors like that. What I'd like to know, though, is how much a room at the Westin costs per night (I know it's not realistic but I'm going to pretend I'm paying for the room by myself for the sake of the equation), and how much parking usually costs. |

Right now rooms at $110 a night for the con.
Last year I think I did $400 + room for three nights* (shared around for the room). For me that covered gas, food, something to remember the con by, a couple of other small purchases, and a birthday gift. This year I'm actually planning less, but my sister will be with me bringing her own money, so I don't need as big an emergency buffer if we both carry a small amount for it.
Other people bring A LOT more, so it all depends.
*I also bring my credit card for emergencies.

Ok, thanks for that. I really hope I manage to save up enough to go. Ok, so how much does parking cost, then, or is the garage owned by the hotel or somethin?XP

Also to figure into your estimates:
The cost to attend Anthrocon itself. Attending runs $40-50 if you pre-register, Sponsor $90, Supersponsor $175.
Food and drink: Highly variable depending on your tastes, but at least $20 a day for most people.
