Hi everyone!

Well, Anthrocon 2008 is just around the corner...literally! It's only a few days away. All of our events and panel requests are in, the pocket programs and programming guides are being printed and assembled, and I have been in contact with our representatives at the convention center, the Westin, and the Anthrocon operations/technical contacts to get everything in place.

This has been a challenge. We've never had more programming and events, or more spaces to hold them than we have this year. As I've said in the past, Anthrocon's programming is the result of the combined time and talent of the members who actually host the events. This isn't about any one person, this is a collective effort. As such, I want to take a moment to thank each and every person who is hosting a panel or event. Without each of the following, Anthrocon would simply not be what is is:

You probably don't want to hear this now that everything's at the printers, but this isn't in the schedule, just the program guide Sad

I had to put it in as an addendum. It's listed as a programming change on a sheet that will accompany the programming guide and the pocket program. Had to do that this morning. Smiling

The thanks are always appreciated!

Many of us, certainly including myself, should also thank the support staff for the panels.
Many panels have more than one person, each of them adding to making that panel work, and
that means they add to AnthroCon as a whole.

Without Scorch, I'd just plain cancel the WW:tA LARP entirely.
Blustorm's going to help ensure the Animal Spirituality/Therianthropy panel covers more
ground than I could alone.

I'm confident they're just examples of many other panel staff, and they also do it because
they care, and want to make AnthroCon as good as they can. Smiling

I appreciate the thanks, and would also like to thank Beowulf and Strype. They will have equal parts in the Small Arms Illustration panel.

Special thanks to World_dancer who suffers through the dry run of my panels. it means hopefully all the boring or confusing bits get cut beforehand so you don't have to listen to me ramble.
