I've been to the con before, but it was different to register than before. My problem is I have no photo I.D. I believe I have my birth certificate but I don't know exactly how I'm going to get in. I'm a minor. I'm wondering if I could use my school I.D. in addition to my birth certificate. Although I can take my permit test, there's no guarentee that I'll get my permit by con time. Help!?

I'm underage as well; a state I.D. or a passport both work (though if you have neither of this, can I suggest getting one? particularly a State I.D.). Make sure you have that notarized form with you, too, and I think that any other identification like a birth certificate would be one of the only other ways.

But somebody more experienced will come along and help some more, I think. :3

As suggested, a State ID is a very good idea- one of those is very useful, not just for Anthrocon. A passport is also a solid and long-lasting identification choice.

The 'Birth Certificate & School ID' combination is probably our most frequently asked about method; we have to evaluate those on a case-by-case basis because of the great variance in school IDs. (If they have a picture, that is a great positive.) Additional ID that is helpful includes postal mail addressed to you, credit cards, high school yearbooks (Principally for the picture!), or any other government record that establishes your identity.

As a minor, you'll need to of course have your permission slip signed by your parent or guardian, and notarized.

Alright, thanks! I'll look into getting a state ID. My school ID does have a picture so I suppose it'll have to do if I can't get one.
