I know that, for example, a quad room is expected to hold up to 4 adults. So, if you
had LESS than 4 adults for a quad room, and you add more, totally as many as 4, you just
need to let the hotel know who to expect, and you'll need more cardkeys. After all, they
get paid if the room is at 1/4 capacity (1 person in a quad) or full capacity (4 people
in a quad). So, up to 4 people, no problem, just make it clear to the hotel.
If you want to put more people in a room than the room capacity, the hotel disapproves,
and will not encourage this. I don't recommend it either, and won't offer any advice
(like, just don't cause trouble and don't mention it).
