move car now (if you have to--race)

from 3:30 - 8:30 pm there's that race of course so if you're in an area
within the race confines (like at the parking garage nr the Omni) it makes
sense to move your car now. I did (7:30 am) and found (after paying $18.75
for a couple days of parking) that the lot at 11th and Smallman was open and
it was free! (Poss. for all of Sunday? no attendant).

this will help since otherwise when you try to leave you may have to wait.
A handout at the Omni said the only way you could get out would be to go to
6th and Smallman, I believe, and who knows how long a holdup could last (imp.
if you need to catch a flight, etc.) Of course the area is starting to clear out
a bit so maybe it won't be so bad.

From 11th and Smallman you'll find it's a short walk to the Conv center; in fact
just turn onto Penn Ave. for easy access to hotel or the CC and from there it's
easy access to major highways.
