D's Rant

Okay, so I wouldn't call it so much as a rant, but more along the lines of what I thought of the convention.

Overall, it was a big success in my opinion. With 3,390 attendees, and 453 fursuiters in the parade, I can only say I was glad to be part of that history. I'd personally like to thank Kage, along with the entire staff of Anthrocon, for giving us such a great convention.

Now, on to my summery of AC. xD

A.) Got to meet Cornwall the Dragon. =D

B.) Have had the honor of being a Handler In Training for ShadowRunner. (Shadow, if you're out there reading this, thanks again for giving me such a great opportunity. ^_^)

C.) I have somehow managed to wind up on Schadenfreude's "It" list. xD Think it had something to do with me mentioning Jaeger Fuchs.....

And finally....

D.) After having hugged, and been hugged by 17 fursuiters at AC 07, I am proud to announce a new record! ^_^

Though sadly with good news, must follow the bad. I regret to inform everyone that I will not be able to attend AnthroCon 2009, due to hardened financial situations. I had discovered this on the bus ride back to my home state, seeing the price of gas, as well as food and other goods ever soaring so high. I'd like to thank everyone for making AC such an enjoyable con for me, as this was my second time going as a SuperSponser.

So in closing, Anthrocon will always hold a special place in my heart, as well as the city of Pittsburgh. Thank you all! ^_^ *hugs everyone*

P.S... I MIGHT be able to make to Furfright this year....
