Is there anyway to know if an item you donated was actually bid on? I wasn't able to attend the charity, so I couldn't watch to see if what I donated was bid on or not, so naturally I'm curious.
I noticed looking through previous years' auction results that there doesn't seem to be any specific order to the list. I was trying to see what types of items fetched the highest prices in the charity auction each year.
I'd suggest the ability to sort the list either by price or donor name, or if it can only be posted one way, to sort it by selling price. But I don't know how much work that would be compared to the way it's usually done. Maybe there is some type of order to it that I don't see. The order they were presented maybe? *shrug*
EDIT: Neverimnd, I see now that it does say approximate order of sale. I just think sorting by selling price (as well?) may be a little more useful. To me, anyway. Just giving my two cents.
I believe I separate the donor, item, and sale price by a hyphen. You can copy the list from any summary and put it in a TXT file by itself, then import it into a spreadsheet delimited by the hyphens, at which point you can sort it to your heart's content.
This year's Followup, due by the end of the weekend, will not be sorted in any particular order because my index cards got mixed up.
All items featured in the auction (with the exception of some plush dogs that weren't featured due to lack of time) were bid on.
If you'd like to tell me what it is, I could try and reach my Wikibrain and recall the winning bid.

If you could tell me who, that would be great!

16 dollars exactly.
If I remember correctly, a man on the 5th row from the front, 6th chair from the right of the MC.
Wow, my memory rocks.
Thank you Wikibrain!

My bid guess, according to my notes was 275 dollars.
The actual winning bid was 240.
I don't remember who won that as he was sitting behind me and I couldn't be bothered to look.

Based on prior years' experience, Rigel will post a list of all items, their donors and the sale price. It may take a while, though.

Thanks Charlie, this is correct. I am working on the Followup now and will have it posted by Sunday with a breakdown of all sales.

permalinkWas there only one of these? I believe it was won by a young lady named Raion.
(I should know, because she was one of my roomies, and she played the game quite a bit after winning the item
)
