well, if yer lookin for furs in your area, I can send you to a database of links. Its on another forum. I made it a long time ago. A few list owners requested that links to their lists stay off the list, but for the most part, ITS BIG. Im sure there is a link on there for you to use.

Just search through it, find a mailing list or forum for furs in your area, and try checking that for any furs that might want to travel with you. I wouldnt suggest just poking around any old forum out there because you will get more area specific responses from an area specific forum/mailing list.

Greetings all! I am Alexei, and this will be the year that I lose my con virginity. I've been looking forward to going to AC for a looooong time. I too would appreciate some veteran congoers to hold my hand if you will. And I look forward to finally seeing some more of my own kind.

Thanks a bunch Giza for the tips and FAQ links. It helped. Now all I have to do is find some room mates to share a hotel room with, and wait for the good times to roll.

while this won't be my first con, it will be my first furry con. that is, if I can be able to go. if i get all my finances worked out, as well as able to get the Independance Day weekend off from work (near impossible, as my bosses will probably deny any request I make to have those days off, but I won't know unless I try), then I will be able to attend AC07. I have known about AC since about 2001, and have been wanting to go, but unable to until now (possibly). I have been to an anime con 3 times, so I am not technically new to the con scene, though I am for furry cons (as I mentioned).

I really hope I can make it this year.
