How and when did you find out about AC?

For me, during the spring of 2006 in my early Deviantart years. Ill note I originally joined DA to keep up with my friends I had from a Nintendo forum I used to go and even was a moderator there, but I quit for too-many-to-list reasons. I was just slowly began immersing myself in the furry (and scaly) fandom after some related browsing, finding it fascinating. During the late spring season, I heard a couple of my furry friends talking about a thing call AnthroCon and they were all excited because of the new location and other things to come. After inquiring about it some more, I really wanted to attend and learn more about furrys. I intionally made plans to attend it in 07', but due to a lack of money and a conflict with a family vacation I was tied to, I had to withdrew. I wasn't planning on going to AC 08 for the same reason, until I found out my then mate was going. Feeling left out of everything, I joined on, and worked my ass off for spending money.
