Tracking down Artist Allley artists after AC

I imagine this has come up for a few other people but, if you paid for a sketch from a artist at artist alley who told you "It'll be ready tomarrow morning" and then the next day they were not at the ally, how do you go about getting ahold of them after the con?

I left a note for the artist in question on the pin board as instructed by one of the cashiers for the alley. I had the cashier call the artist using their contact info but only got a answering machine. I was told that to protect the artist's personal info they could not give out their address or number or e-mail address.

So any suggestions on tracking them down? I tried a google search for their name, I search for their name on here. No luck.

Any one else have this problem?
