Problem from Artist Alley?
|
I'm not sure... so I'd like to ask and figure general is the best place to do so. What if you purchased something from an artist in the alley, paid for it, turned your slip in everything, got in touch with them after the con and were told that you'd get the paid for badge in the mail in about a week... It's now been what... two weeks? Going on three, since the con ended, and no badge? And the last time you emailed the artist, you didn't get a response? Not naming any names at this point, just wondering. Still magically hoping that the artist will email for my address so I can get my art, but I'm starting not to feel too hopeful, and if I don't get the art, I'd like to see if there are options for getting my money back? Not so hopefully, a sad red panda |

Not to go off subject here, but HI SHIVERSHINE!!! Added you to AIM.
As for the badge, that's unfortunate, and from reading the previous responses to these sort of posts, I don't think there is any recourse except through the artist.
Hope it turns out well for you.

That thread is already discussing this matter a bit. To briefly summarize my statements over there: your best bet is to find furry artist/client groups on the internet and post grievances there. An artist with a bad rep does poor business.

Anthrocon itself can't help with that. It would be a matter between you and the artist.
