"Oh noes!"

Foam and plastic stuff joanns or hancocks, you can also get stuff like zippers thread muslin and such there. Stuff like sculpty foamies, paint and such at Micheles, as for fur the selection at stores suck so try places like http://www.crscraft.com/ http://www.mendels.com/ or http://www.syfabrics.com/

Wal-Mart ?

Yes, you can even find some interesting, quality and surprisingly inexpensive fur at Wal-Mart from time to time. Try their sewing/handicrafts department. The selection is different in each store. They also carry an assortment glue, fasteners, notions and other materials. Also, check out their throw rugs. Someone recently made a suit from furry throw rugs they were selling recently.

Cooling fans are usually taken from desktop pc's.

From experience, the stuff at Wal-mart, fur wise is usually low quality and falls apart easy.

They do have other stuffs that is worth getting there, such as sewing supplies, and needles, and elastic....but I make it a point now to stay away from their faux fur.

If you don't have any major fabric stores in your area I suggest buying your fur online.

Mendels Fabrics....http://www.mendels.com/fur2.shtml ships pretty much anywhere. Having ordered once from there I was happy with the quality of the fur, but not so much how one of the boxes was packed.

You should check into that place.
