Special thanks go to Warphammer for photography and compositing of the panorama on the balcony.
Thanks,

And I came this close to asking Techwolf why he took one big balcony picture instead of stitching together a number of 'em, like I thought he did last year. I guess you and he work independently.
What a great shot... it's so much fun to scroll through it, and see the fursuiters all doing different things. Some are waving, some are pointing at stuff, some are talking to each other, some are just leaning on the railing, taking in the view...
Though alas, some of them have their backs to the camera, which isn't nearly as cute
You know, it occurs to me that while we do need better cueing so that everyone knows when the photo is being taken, maybe we don't want to be so specific about the particular moment. The shot wouldn't be nearly as cool if it were simply everyone waving in unison. There's something to be said for leaving in that wee element of anarchy ^_^
(And at any rate: Thank you, Kreggan and Warphammer both, for the wonderful service and impeccable work you've provided to our community!)

I'll take that as a complement sense you could not tell. There are two balcony shots I posted. One is with the riverboat and the other is a composite shot of all the fursuiters on the balcony.

The cueing problem is being addressed for next year.
I was independent, the other one was working with staff. I've tried many years ago, but my ideas (that was new at that time) fell on deaf ears. So I do the best I can now a days without staff help.
You mean, the larger of your two images (the one that focused on the fursuiters) was stitched together as well?
I was under the impression that you took a single, super-high-res shot. Mostly because of the width of the final image (about 13k pixels), which was a bit on the small side for looking up individual suiters, but plausible [I believe] for a single take if you have good optics and a large-format film stock....
Anyway, it's good to have another pro at that right place and time. I'm glad you were able to get that shot with the boat, though unplanned---that was a defining element of this year's Parade that would have been lost if not for you.
