paws and hands

Location: ne ohio

ok i have an idea for my fursuit. Most fursuiters have the delima of having ither paws that look like paws but have litle to no mobilty, or paws that look like furred gloves with mobilty but not the paw look. So i was thinking who not make detachible paw like paws to put over the glove like paws. Any ideas on how this might be done? Any coments?

There are a few ways to do this. You can make both types of glove to wear with the fursuit and then choose which pair you want to wear for each event, (mix 'n match?)

Bucktowntiger uses what appears to be gloves attached under more realistic looking paws. Check his videos, he did perform at AC this year on keyboard.

The trouble with a detatchable system like you suggest is the glove-like paws will still be heavier and more cumbersome than ordinary gloves. If you try to design animal-like paws to put over them, the added bulk would seriously compromise the appearance and practicality of both applications.
