furry comics

I like comics, I really do. I like laughing at the misfortunes of others like, say, when a skunk gets shot int he head with an arrow. This amuses me greatly, like when the token ditz gets smacked with a shovel. But, as of late I'm a little irked with all teh furry comics I read. Why? Well, most of them are somewhat sexual or have implied poon. NOw don't get me wrong, I love yiffy things alot. It's just, I'm at a loss when it comes to finding good furry comics that don't have a sexual bend in it somewhere. Really the only ones I know of are "ended" like In a Perfect World. Anyone know some good furry comics that are minimally yiffy but still hilarious and addicting? Believe it or not, there are times where I don't want to see something sexual, like when I'm at school.

http://www.kevinandkell.com - Kevin and Kell. Because Bill Holbrook does some darned fine work!
http://www.rcsitravel.net - Code Name: Hunter, an excellent fantasy/alternate timeline comic
http://www.collectedcurios.com/sequentialart.php - Sequential Art. It's peripherally furry (cat girls, a platypus, and, um, whatever Pip is (a penguin, maybe?)), but has an interesting storyline.

These are the ones that come to mind first, anyway.

Frankly, I look at lots of furry comics, and not a one of them is sexual in nature, with the possible exception of Jack, which is gritty and disturbing and oddly habit-forming.

I think that you are just looking in the wrong places.

Same here i guess, because about 90% of not just comics but everything I've seen so far has a sexual twist in it. ~_~

As I said, you're looking in the wrong places.

Check out some of the dozens that people have suggested elsewhere in this thread.

What?!? Shocked

Where?? Evil

NOw don't get me wrong, I love yiffy things alot. It's just, I'm at a loss when it comes to finding good furry comics that don't have a sexual bend in it somewhere.

I can think of three of these: Sabrina Online, Buddies in Big Places, and (the mother of 'em all) Kit 'n Kay Boodle. Perhaps your ability to find sexually-charged and/or explicit furry comics is some kind of super-power, an ability to which mere mortals can only aspire ^_^

Anyone know some good furry comics that are minimally yiffy but still hilarious and addicting?

A few choice strips that I regularly read:

Gene Catlow

Dan and Mab's Furry Adventures (currently on a reduced schedule)

Mandy

Newshounds

South Pole (a recent entrant into the field)

Well, if your looking for webcomics, I have a couple for you:

Bristled at www.bristled-comic.com which concerns the goings on of three female roommates. I'd rate it as PG. It goes on hiatus occasionally.
The Conspiracy at http://theconspiracy.smackjeeves.com/ which is difficult as all hell to describe. Rated somewhere between G and PG.
and then there's Jack at www.pholph.com which has so many short stories. An excellent read though it does contain nudity, it's plot driven and has a place in the story arc. Not recommended for school. Also currently on hiatus, but theres over 8 years worth of comic to read through.

Usagi Yojimbo, fer cryin' out loud.

Also Elephantmen from Image Comics, tho it's gritty noir.

Fables from DC Comics' Vertigo imprint has furry elements, I recently got hooked on it.

If you want Looney Tunes-style wackiness, try...um, Looney Tunes from DC Comics.

There are a lot of newspaper comic strip collections out there, too, like Get Fuzzy, Mutts, and others.
