My friend just invited me to join him and his girl friend to a trip to Alaska in July 2009, this kind of throws a wrench into my Anthro con plans Sad

Besides, we already have all the huskies you could ever want:

Dogsledding? We've got that too!

And if you and your friends still want to freeze your tails off, you can just sneak into a Headless Lounge and stand in front of one of these babies:

(It may not look like much, but imagine that fan on full blast and the room thermostat set at around 34°F all weekend long. Brrr!)

So you see, there's no need to go to Alaska! Why not invite your friends to the decidedly better-than-Alaska experience that is Anthrocon? Smiling

How would you advertise... Australia?

As for Alaska, hey think of it this way. When's the next time you're going to get the chance to go to Alaska? How often does Alaska happen? how often does AC happen?

Well the Alaska trip is not set in stone as for the date but its early July....

I can't see me being able to go to both, its one or the other. Also this is my last year of "freedom" before i take my officers course.... So its gonna but a tough decision unless something happens.
