Awhile back folks mentioned, "Gee, this looks different from PHPbb". So, I just made some changes to the templates and now user pictures appear on the left of each post. Plus, the comment that you entered when you first created your account will appear underneath it. To upload your own picture: - Go to My Account To set a comment for yourself: Enjoy! And let me know if there are any quesitons or problems. -- Giza |

Wow! Cool, I didn't think you'd actually go ahead and change it. I think it looks nice this way. Good job! ^_^

Heh. Originally I hadn't planned to because of the way templates used to be. But the latest version of Drupal includes PHPTemplate, and that makes it easier for me to work with things. (such as putting pictures on the original posts, too)

Awwww, I actually liked having the pic on the right side of the forum. it was unique.
Another idea:
Could you incorperate a option that allows people (from their profiles) to switch where they see the Av?
If you do go through with even half of my ideas when AC rolls around, by that time you will probably have the most customisable board in the internet...

Programmaticaly speaking? Sure, I could do that.
I'm hesitant to do it, though. The reason is that for every customization I make that isn't part of Drupal Core or an actual module, the more problems I risk running into when doing an upgrade.
(Readers with attention to detail will notice that the link called "link" from individual comments, which linked to the comment, disappeared after the most recent upgrade. That's a perfect example of what I am talking about.)
However, I'll do some investigation and see if there is a way that I can implement your idea with minimal impact on the rest of the system.
