Was watching some ventriloquist (sp) vids on youtube with a frined and I thought; hey, why hasn;t there been a pawpet improve or open mic yet? Well maybe in the past or another con but I'm not aware of any. I'd like to see that, I think it'd be a great show before Kage's storyhour

Learning how to perform "furry" is half the fun.
Much of Anthrocon is dedicated to offering opportunities to learn and practice performance in a "low-pressure" environment. For example last year we had:

  • Open Call Skit Developement - Friday 7:00pm
  • Fursuit Performance - Friday 4:00pm, Saturday 10:30am, Sunday 10:30am
  • Performing for Parades - Saturday 12:00pm
  • Puppetry 101 - Friday 1:00pm
  • Open Call Puppetry - Friday 3:00pm
  • Storytelling with Puppets - Saturday 10:00am
  • Making Good Masquerade Skits - Saturday 3:30pm
  • Fursuit Dance 101 - Friday 2:00pm

I'm sure we had an improv workshop somewhere on the schedule, if not last year then the year before. If you wish to contribute your own panel, we can always use more.
