AnthroCon Mockup Newsletter (PDF Available!)
|
Wasn't sure which forum to put this in! Well, for my newest project in my advertising school, we are designing newsletters for events. Of course, I had to choose AC! But I have reached a snag. I can't thing of a title for the newsletter itself. I can't use 'AnthroCon' it's too generic. The title needs to be something creative, and has to do with the con' as a whole, not just the theme of the year. I've scoured the entire site looking for ideas, but have come up short. I'm trying to keep the title along the lines of AnthroCon's tagline, 'Fur, fun and more!'... Now, I'm not asking for an actual title, I need to do that myself. What I am asking of all of you is an idea. Some keywords perhaps? And of course, this isn't going to be a real newsletter, just a project for college. It will not be published, and I won't be making money off of it. When it's finished, I might post some screen caps or maybe the whole PDF here to share! ______________________________________________ I have finished the project! It was a lot of fun, and a big learning experience in the layout design field. I'm looking forward to doing more! But enough about that, what about the finished piece!? Well, if you'd like to see how it turned out, I can e-mail it to whoever wants it. I don't know any sites that can host a PDF for me, so e-mail is the only way I know! ^_^; |

It doesn't quite rhyme, but how about "Furry Fun at Anthrocon"?

Back when there was a newsletter at Anthrocon (2005 was the last year, I believe - the editor had to give it up to move on to another position), the title was "Anthrocontent".

I see you have a deviantart account in your website link. You can post a pdf to deviantart as far as I know, since I've done it in the past. You just have to provide an image for a thumbnail. I would also recommend reducing the size of the pdf to something reasonable for the web if it isn't already.
Here's an old magazine I made in high school as an example on my seldom updated account.
