Couldn't really find another place for this, my only idea so far is a Volunteer forum, and I dunno if you were holding off to wait for the con to be closer, but I think it would be nice to have a forum to chat about it with past volunteers, as well as plan for 07. In a kinda-related note, I had a question for Uncle Kagi on Volunteering, is it ok to email him at the address, or does he get so much junk there its not worth it? |

We've been thinking about that. On the flipside, we've learned in years past that recruiting volunteers months before the con has a high "drop out" rate. i.e., peoples' travel plans change, they can't get the time off from work, whatever. So we're keeping that in mind before we commit to creating a forum for that.
However, we /will/ have information on the site about volunteering before the con starts.
As for your question about volunteering, go ahead and email it to anthrocon.2007 AT anthrocon DOT org. That address goes to me, and either I can answer your question, or forward it to someone who can. (Think of that address as our "virtual switchboard".
