I'm not sure if this is in the right place.. Or even who I would have to talk to about this.. But I have an idea to maybe fill in the gap's for them who was bord the day before the event's really took off.. Sence there is a Dave & Buster's maybe 25 min's from the con that maybe the thrusday night we could have a party there? Just give the word and I will go book the party room they have. Sorry if this is out of line.. Just though I would toss a idea out there. |

That sounds like it could be rather fun. I would sure enjoy going, but I'm landing and checking in on the 4th (afternoon...ish) so I don't know how free I would actually be... or how much I would have free for that matter.

If you plan on doing your own gathering independent of the con, you don't need to "clear" it with us. So long as it's not presented as an AC-sponsored/endorsed event, I don't think there would be a problem.
Case in point, I know furs in years past have organized trips to Bucca di Beepo, and there's never been any problems.

The D&B in Philly is highly recommended. It's video games and booze, two great things that go great together!

Well based on new info.. It looks like I have more time off this year then I though I did so ya I will be there for the hole con again this year. anyway I'm thinking of a thursday afternoon kind of thing. maybe all meet up in the main lobby of the hotel and we will deside who is going in what car and how many to take. I will keep everyone posted.

As long as your with someone who is 25 or over then they will let you in. I know I never had any problems whit takeing people who was under age in with me. Anyway the more the merry I say

Ok looks like we have quite a few to go on this trip. Now as for the bowling I'm not quite sure But I could probly find one. Also If your looking for DDR I know where one is and where a ITG2 is. But they are past D&B But Lets try and find out just how many will be driving?

Ok everyone.. Like I said in the last post, Let's try and find out how many will have a car and will be driveing so I will know how to split everyone up and what not, Also I would like a head count of who all is coming for sure, Mainly because if its quite a few then I might look in to booking there party room.

I hate to double post... But I still have not got a head count of who will be up for this, I also still have not got a list of people that will be coming and have a car. permalinkWell, I have a car, and since I'm underage and wont be drinking, I'll be able to be a designated driver. Its one thing to have a drunken hyooman on the road, but we don't need any drunk penguins on the road giving us furs a bad name. Also, I would like to see what a D&B is like. But I might need a little help getting in. But like I said, James would be willing to help the drunky furs get back to the hotel. My car seats 6 including myself, just no spewing in my backseat.

yeah, i don't drink either, so if any of the drivers party a little to hard or something, i could take over the wheels if you'd trust me too. I have never recieve a ticket or have been involved in any accident either, in case you'd want to know.

Ok everyone not a problem as for the age thing. as long as your with a 26 year old they really won't say anything about it, And I happen to be 26 Now I'm not sure how meany they will let me bring in under me, But I think and hope that there will be enough of us that are 26 and over that can help get the younger one's in.
Now I have a mid size SUV I think I will still have space for two more people on thursday night, As for WED.. I think it will be just me and I will be me. But we will cross this bridge when it come's.

No its 21 to get in unless you under 21 then you need to have someone who is 26 or older with you in order to get in

sounds cool, just if thats a 25 min DRIVE to the restaurant, then I would either have to catch a ride with someone or skip out. Course, I might even be spending that night volunteering. Someone told me the more you volunteer, the more chances you have of getting into staff and I figure since I come every year and volunteer a buttload of hours, it would only make sense to try to become staff.
anyways, yeah, Ill try to get into that, you can catch me on AIM through the nick Eternalkrynn if you want to chat about the plans.
