It's only two blocks away and it's frankly faster to walk, but for those who need a lift from the nearby Doubletree Hotel to the Convention Center, such as fursuiters and exhausted convention chairmen, the Doubletree offers a complimentary shuttle that will run continually from 7 AM to 11 PM. The shuttle has only 12 seats so like the elevators, fursuiters and persons with special needs should be given priority. There is no charge for the service although it is appropriate to tip the driver for the extra effort of cleaning the fur out of his air conditioning vents.

AWSOME!!! What about spotters for the fursuiters? Can they go with too? I'm guessing it'll be at the hotel like every 15 minutes or so just so I can plan when to take the right one to be at the convention center for the certain events? I'd much rather tip an individual working with this wonderful hotel than pay for a cab. Thanks so much for the info!!

We'll see how it goes. In general, there's no reason why someone who will have difficulty walking to the Doubletree should be left to stand in the hot sun while an able-bodied person rides the shuttle.
