New and Improved Registration Layout
Changes are on the way. We are expanding registration in order to handle the increasing number of people attending Anthrocon. We are striving to increase our throughput and decrease the wait times at registration for our attendees.
Not only is registration expanding but the layout is also changing. For that reason I am posting a map of the new registration layout. I want to get this out there so people will get an idea of where they will need to go when they pick up their badge.

Of course with more stations it means we will be need a lot more volunteers, especially on Thursday and early Friday. And don’t forget bag stuffing on Wednesday. Come and help us out. Not only is it a great way to meet other people but it helps out the convention. Put in enough hours as a volunteer and you can earn a free con shirt or even a free attending level membership for next year’s convention.

Ill be flying in Wed though I`m not sure when I`ll be settled in.What time and where does the bag stuffing happen?
We will try and start stuffing bags around noon or shortly after but a lot of it will depend on when the truck arrive at the DLCC and how fast we can get the supplies moved over to registration.
ah that early huh? i probably wouldnt get settled into my room till 6 or 7 pm probably. the new layout looks like it hopefully will be better
I like the way this is set up, looks pretty cool and being a Sponsor, I don't have to walk all the way over like in previous years.
I assume the conbook pick-up table is nearby?
It should be in a similar location to prior years.
My husband and I are arriving on Wednesday and would love to help out! Since this is our first AC ever, please let us know where and when to meet for bag stuffing. Noon is no problem for us as we can come as early as needed. ! :-)
Generally, as long as you make yourself available for as much of Wednesday as you can, you'll be set. There's lots that needs to be helped with, especially with bag stuffing which can take a few hours to complete. It always happens in the DLCC, but if you show up early enough, everyone usually meets in the main Westin building before heading over.
Just stop by con ops on Wednesday to get your volunteer form. We can always use help stuffing bags and it is a good way to meet people.

I talked it over with my husband, and we can be there as early on Wednesday as we are needed to help out with whatever. How early does the work begin? As I said this is our first, but we love to be involved and will help with whatever is needed.
As was mentioned, the bulk might start somewhere around noon. However, it all depends on when all the prerequisite stuff gets done. It's definitely not a bad idea to show up as early as you'd like, though, so you can talk to Con-Ops, get your volunteer sheet, and meet with some of the other staff/volunteers who are there, such as me.

This lends a question:
If you are a pre-reg'ed supersponsor, do you go in the on-site section or do you go around the whole mess and straight to pre-reg supersponsor?
If you are a Pre-registered anything, you go right to Pre-registration's section.
If you are Upgrading to Sponsor / Supersponsor (after recieving your current badge) or purchasing a new Sponsor / Supersponsor Membership, you go to the Expidited line.
Go directly to Pre-Registered Supersponsor.
Do not go to On-Site.
Do not waste two hours waiting in line.
