Hotel Room Claim Question
Hey everyone! It's me again. I think I remember seeing somewhere that, when getting the hotels, once you select your room you're safe, and no one can snake it from you? Like so when you put in your dates you're staying and select which room you'd like. Cause last year when I was getting my room I was panicking the whole way through thinking that if I didn't fill everything in fast enough I'd lose my room. So do I have to go through the same thing again or can I avoid the panic attack?
As long as your payment doesn't bounce you s/b OK.
But you might not get the type of room you requested/wanted
(e.g., king, queen, double twin beds, etc.) - I think those go first-come, first-served.
What do you mean by payment bouncing?
Once you select a room, it should be yours as long as your session does not time out. I've never had an issue getting into the AC room block, though I've never tried for the Westin or Courtyard.
Seconding the payment bouncing, and make sure you have the funds beforehand.
I was a minor last year and my father was staying with me so we used his credit card... Then drove 8 hours and had our card rejected. Turns out the company only let him spend $500 a day. So we tried a few more of his cards, one finally worked.
ALWAYS check with your bank before arriving at a hotel. Visa and Mastercard are always a safe bet. Let them know a week before your departure about where you plan on going too so that they don't count your spendings as fraudulent charges and suspend your card for the weekend like they did for one of mine. Yikes!
Thanks for the info!
