Biography:
AudioDile began his musical odyssey as a young child way back in the late '70s with his prized collection of 45-RPM singles. True fact: you could buy a single of your favorite song for about a DOLLAR....what?....ITunes?...yeah, but this was real VINYL! Ah, forget it. A faithful "American Top 40" listener and frequent viewer of MTV in the early '80s, he began purchasing 12" remix singles at the age of 9 and eventually acquired well over 500 on vinyl alone. By age 10 he was making mix tapes, by 11 he was making his own remixes with dual cassette decks. The remixes were not any good however, until he resumed remixing with actual audio software in 2000.
His first exposure to DJing came in the form of apprentice to a local wedding DJ in the mid-'80s, the highlight of which was putting in the wrong side of a cassette which resulted in the Bridal Dance music being Young MC's "Bust A Move" instead of Heatwave's "Always and Forever". He DJed his first con as an emergency fill-in in 1999 at Further Confusion, and has appeared every year since. Since then he has DJed at Megaplex, Midwest FurFest and Ibiza. In addition he's had a remix licensed for an upcoming film, been copied by Kid Rock (the mashup "More Werewolves of Alabama”, which was also requested by UK A/V wizards Hexstatic for use in their shows), praised by Omar Santana, played by DJ Donna Summer aka Jason Forrest and friended on MySpace by Jason Nevins. His remixes and mashups have been featured in Urb, and played on radio and in clubs all over the world. No, really. Well, okay…no Ibiza yet.
Previously known as DJ Croc in his formative years, in 2006 he started perfecting his beatmatching and transitions upon switching to Ableton Live and his sets became more house/electro-based in nature. AudioDile’s sets are known for mixing all kinds of music, from updated remixes of ‘80s hits to current club electro-house, with some old-school surprises thrown in for fun. He enjoys combining multiple tracks at once to create something both familiar and fun yet new and exciting. He doesn’t expect to wow you with his amazing stage presence and turntable wizardry, but he intends to see that you’ll be too busy dancing to care. His single remixes and mashups can be found at www.audiodile.com whereas his long form mixes are located as follows:

Check back next week, when the spotlight is pointed at a newcomer to the Anthrocon DJ circuit, Antimon!

Frontpaged and Tweeted.
Also, I remember this gentleman as being an early influence on me back when I was new to the furry fandom. He wrote the Furry Poem!
