ALL EQUINE/HOOVED/MIX FURRIES! POST HERE!
Alrighty then! Let's see how many hoofers there are including myself! Mostly this a a response to the recent wolf thread. Have fun with it! I count as number one just because I am awsome!
I'm a quarter horse stallion with tan fur and a black and tan mane (as seen in the picture to the left! ^ ^) During the summer my coat becomes much darker.
That...actually sounds really...really awsome! Although...perhaps a bit frightening...but...awsome nevertheless!
A Skewbald Mustang, that's how I roll.

Hey Hoofer,
Have you considered doing a Hoofer Gathering panel at AC? We don't yet have a hoofers panel, and a meet/greet for hoofers may be something fun. If you're interested, drop me a note at
Thanks!

*Charline de Lyon keeps watch from her hiding place in the shrubbery, adding each new named hoofer to her list... which is entitled "The Menu"* Soon, time for om nom nom! >:3
*Sighs* Well everyone, I'm sorry...but to prevent forest fires...we must do a controled burn of the forest floor! ^ ^
*Sets fire to the bush*
?! I have a friend who is also an Oryx! I ought to hook you up sometime...although you might already know them...
um...Equustra...the name is Unicorn on this site, but with an Oryx fursuit! A really cool one to actually...
Yup! ^ ^ and he is my favorite artist! I love his stuff...AND he has an oryx fursuit that is incredible...*drools*...
HAHA! Your kidding right? I'm heading there to! One of my first stops! My girlfriend found his art and practically drools over it all the time XD But since she can't go, I have to fill in...and you know what? E.C is an awesome guy from what I have heard. Also an awesome artist from what I have SEEN. I love his art just as much as my girlfriend, and I know she might kill me for saying this but...(I might like it MORE than her!)...And that is just going to give me to meet another hoofer I suppose, won't it? Referring to you that is! ^ ^
O_o Black? Thats even mroe interesting than white! I wonder if unicorns have racial issues or had them....hopefully not...But of course I woulden't know. Welcome to the herd Ishaway!
i'm working on a black unicorn partial suit for my love as we speak. its black with a white muzzle and white right before the hooves. and it's safe to say, no racial issues here.
Really?! I suppose the more interesting question is...will it be ready for AC 09? I'm going to be taking pictures of EVERY equine I see (if they let me) including unicorns and the like. Hmm...I should get to work on a partial suit as well...
well hers will be a partial due to the fact that i don't have alot of time. And being something i'm less familiar with(not a carnivore) it's a bit of work that i am halfway done with and already plan on making a better one for next year for her. it's all a learning process for me. and it is fun so i'm enjoying the experimentation with the fursuit creation.
Partials are fine and dandy and great! Don't let that get you down! That sounds really amazing and fun actually! I can't wait to see its appearance at AC this year! I'm actually going to go with a partial suit when I finally decide to make my own, I would rather just wear a T-shir and jeans anyways.
BTW..be on the lookout for my quagga fursuit romping around the convention
*GASP* Dear god I'm going to stop you in your tracks though I hope you know that...I'm going to snap SO many pictures of you...Besides...I'm really interested in the quagga...I'm sad they went extinct...but APPARENTLY I was wrong!!! See you at AC, FOR CERTAIN K.P!
Sadly, quaggas did go extinct in 1883. However, recent genetic research has shown that the quagga was actually a subspecies of the Plains zebra through recessive traits. Through the efforts of the quagga project, Plains zebras have been selectively bred to have these traits re-emerge. Within another 2 generations, it is believed that truly quagga like foals will be born in South Africa. This would make the quagga the very first creature in human history that humans caused to go extinct, to be brought back from extinction through human efforts. Makes quagga even more special
Just in case you want to see the quagga at Anthrocon, be on the lookout for this guy:
http://i261.photobucket.com/albums/ii55/fursuitfracas/ghali2009.jpg
He's based on the photos from the mare at the London zoo from the 1880's and other museum specimens. Not the currently living animals fromthe quagga project.
As Ghali would say, "Rumors of my extinction are greatly exaggerated."

That suit is way too cute. Definitely have to keep an eye out for you.
I just realized something....what kind of Quagga are you? Grey's Quagga? (The extinct Quagga) Or the quagga we see today in zebras etc.? O_o?
Do you have a picture K.P? Or is it a suprise?! XD
Dear hoofer,
I am not a hooved creature but I love them^^ does that count
Anyhow I hope to meet you at AC this year as it will be my first time as well and I love meeting new furs! Look for the big grey dane girl^^ Woof!
AWW! So formal with your "Dears!" ^ ^
I believe that counts entirely! Especially if you love equines! Your horse Dixie looks just like my pony Gracie as a matter of fact, only Gracie has a pure white mane...little palimino thing...Be sure to stop in at the Hoofer meet and greet even if you are not a hoofer! I woulden't mind seeing a great dane so long as you don't feel the urge to herd anyone, in which case you might not find us all very cooperative ^ ^ I'l see you at AC!
I am
I have three horse fursonas ^_^.
Two are My Little Ponies. One a female unipeg http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1537186/ the other a male unicorn/dragon http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1537198/. I have partial suits of both of them.
As for a normal horse breed. I am a Fell pony
.
wow! Very nice! You sure do like those ponies huh? I have my own pony named Grace! She is a palomino mutt horse (breed unknown as of yet)Very unique characters to! I have never heard of a unipeg or...what I'm going to call a unigon! Fell ponies are amazing to! I love that breed! Welcome to the herd!
My better half is a white unicorn with a mane, tail and fetlocks so thin that it refracts light like a prism and gives the appearance of being rainbowy.

you just gave me a great idea....(but I'm not gunna mentio it here!!)..ok maybe I will..eventaully...Unicorns are also hoofers! They are also quite pretty! Although I can imagine many situations where that horn might be a problem...(DOORWAYS! *kook!) I wish i could dig up this picture I had before...I don't know where it is, but...one of the horses was getting a bath and the mist from the water created a rainbow, and the picture was taken so that it looked like her mane was a complete rainbow! It was a great picture!
[My idea was making hair, instead of having a circular strand form, have triangle strands of hair, like prisms, and get clear fur [like polar bears] and then maybe you would have that kind of rainbow effect? O_o? I'm going to look into this!)
Very old proverb: Never play leapfrog with a unicorn.
I'm the DevilPony that was spoken of earlier ^_^ Just a black and pink icelandic horse - short, stubborn, squishy, and sassy!
Woo! Hihi~
I'm a Jackalope-Auroch mutt. A little weird, yeah, but so am I. ^^
*high-fives the Quagga, Extinct-Hoofers-Team go!*
