What is the latest date people who submitted items to be selected for the conbook would find out if we were chosen?

Hi Midnightnebula!

While we try to let people know if their submission has been received, we usually can't let people know if a submission has been selected for use in the conbook ahead of time. This is mainly due to the crunch time involved in production, when we are literally adding and deleting material up to the last minute (and sometimes even afterward) to fill space in the conbook (and our other publications).

In a nutshell, producing the conbook is a delicate balance of time and space, which somehow seems apropos to our theme. I hope this answers your question!
