Biography:
I began listening to various forms of music in the mid nineties ranging from rap, rock, and country. I hadn’t gotten a taste of electronic music until about 1996 which is also around the time I began getting involved in the furry fandom. I started learning, listening, and researching more and more of the various types of electronic music, from trance to happy hardcore, and house to drum and bass. I loved every bit of it that I could get my paws on.
My first convention was Anthrocon in 2002 where I experienced my first “rave” or “dance” whichever you prefer to call it really. I noticed all the people enjoying the same beats, moving all together, almost like they didn’t have a care in the world. There was something about the music that just made them move, and I wanted everything to do with that! Recently in 2004 I had attended a large festival, at the time it was known as DEMF (Detroit Electronic Music Festival). I had an amazing time, hearing all the various types of music in the different parts of where it was held. It was around that time that I really wanted to get into the DJ’ing aspect of electronic music a lot more. I spent a few years playing with beats and mixes during my spare time from work and military service. More recently I had gotten to the point where I was comfortable with playing live in front of others and playing what I really liked which is a good combination of current hip hop, pop, and house remixes of songs that seemed to hit the top of the charts.
Being thankful for what good things the fandom and conventions have done and shown me I couldn’t think of a better way to give back then to put in what I had learned to love thanks to my first con. Today I deliver hits at various cons playing beats that makes everyone want to just drop what they are doing, forget everything, and just get on the floor to have a great deal of fun! Come join!
