I got my Wii on Sunday, just keeping track of whoever else might get theirs. I'll definitely be bringing my remote, probably not the system (except for hotel play only, and that's still a maybe), but if nobody else brings theirs to the game room, I'll probably be up for babysitting it while others play it. |

I got my Wii on Sunday morning too! It was a fun experience, what-with a final exam the next day haha! (so much for studying for that one) So now I have a system for my Wii-mote and Zelda.
(Long story short, I was also waiting in a release date line, #42 in a line with 41 Wii's so I got a remote to play multiplayer with friends Wii's.)
I'll probably bring a remote, but past that, depends on if I get some real luggage between now and then. It seems sort of silly to bring it to play with it in your room though. I went last year, and the year before, and there's very little down-time. You'll end up wishing that the con never stops! Public Wii gaming, I'd be up for though.

I'm waiting until January to get mine, with all the demand that's going on right now for Christmas.
(That, and I just play Omnibahumut's on weekends.

The line was insane! There were like 50 people in the one I was in on Sunday, for all of 9 Wii's. Had to get there early, went at midnight, got kicked out and came back at 4 am.

I like pointing out that Giza was a non-believer until he finally played with my Wii. Now he has to play with my Wii every chance he gets
Getting the one I have wasn't too hard; when EB announced they were taking Pre-orders, I was there the next morning, 7th in line. Getting one for my little brother was a little more challenging. Camping outside of Toys R Us for 7 hours... many of the campers literally pissed on Toys R Us

My Wii number is 4631 7388 1582 7786 in case anyone wants to add me (Milt). Not much I can do right now other than check the weather and send messages, since I only have Wii Sports and Smash Bros. Melee.

Zelda, and Ray-Man are really awesome games. Trauma center is another very good one, but it's very intense... If you don't mind accidentally killing a patient here or there it's a cool game. I only own Zelda, and Wii Sports though I've played the others.
I won't be able to use the online features when I get home from school in a few days, since I have slow internet there... lame...
