A couple of recent website issues

Just a couple of things that I wanted to bring folks up to speed on:

1) Some people were getting "pre-condition failed" errors when trying to access the site. I've disabled the responsible module for now, and we'll see how that works out.

2) I've seen a "404 file not found" errors on the logs, specifically when people try to click the "comment on this post" link. If this happens to you, can you please email us with the browser and OS that you are using? We're trying to find if this issue affects only certain browser/OS combinations.
