Hi. A quick question regarding room keys.

I've booked a room which I'll be sharing with some other furs, and I'll be arriving first to sort the room out, pay anything required etc. The people I'm sharing with will be arriving over the following 24hrs - is there some sort of recommended procedure for getting them spare room keys ? I'm planning to offer my meagre help as a olunteer so won't be hanging around in the room.

Normally, I know you'd just text or ring someones mobile, and you could meet at the hotel, but if they dont have one or are from another country, it may be a problem.

Are we allowed to ask the hotel staff to give spare keys to people if we give them their real and fursona names ? Or rather, will hotel staff be happy to do this ? I'm sure this sort of thing has happened before - just wondering if there was a recommended method ?

You need to call the hotel directly, ask for in-house reservations, and have your friend's real name (not his fursona name) added to the reservation.

Does anyone know if I can wait until I check in to add names to the reservation ,or do I have to do it in advance ?

You might try calling the hotel and asking.

I know you can go online and amend a Doubletree reservation and add the names. I imagine you can do the same with the other hotels.

Yahh - actually, I rang Marriott reservations in the UK and they were perfectly happy to add names to the reservation.

Thanks Laughing out loud
