It depends which germantown you're in
In anne arundel county, montgomery county or baltimore county, you should be on-route and it won't cost extra. For gas and tolls, I'm thinking about 30 bucks up, and 30 bucks back. That'll cover half a tank both ways, and half the tolls. IF its' less, then it'll cost less. I've rounded up here just in case, yanno? But I ain't gonna rip you off.

permalinkYou might be able to catch a ride with my husband & I if a friend of ours is able to get his van up and running so that he drive up on his own. We can fit two people (maybe 3) in the back seat of a mid-size sedan. When do you want to leave and return ? Let me know. Thanks!

I can pick you up at either greenline or brown line end. They're both pretty close to me.
Email me, I'm already bringing one person, and I need to know how much luggage we'll have.
Two things: Can you contribute a quarter of the ride fee(I'll collect both going up/coming down ahead of time to prevent any unwanted 'accidental' spending during the con) and does heavy metal bother you? I'm a night driver, and I Like my heavy metal, so I'll be leaving late wednesday night.

Sure thing. Toxic noise has already contacted me, but throw an email my way, and we can work out the details. I still have room for two in my car, and I'd prefer only to take two folks up. There will be stops for chow, food and booze(I need to purchase some wines in maryland from linganore before I head out of the state, so we'll grab some on the way). I know the way like the back of my hand(At least up until the pittsburgh exit, so we're good to go.

Cool, you IM'ed me minutes before I woke up this morning, and I'll be in class and blah blah blah something here that noone really understands... Anyways, yeah, sounds like a plan. Am 21, so teh booze dosn't bother me. Out in fairfax along 123, so it means I could easily get to a metro station and ride from there if need be
